After the nuclear war, numerous water sources and farmlands were contaminated with radiation. Foundations and politicians seized control of the remaining resources, using laws and tax systems to disenfranchise the population, and the "Company," with its vast wealth and power, effectively began to rule humanity. In the midst of the events, a young scientist who led a resistance group called the Liberation Front, driven by the idea of freedom despite reality, attempted to free humanity from the power of the "Company".
